Literally Scents Co. was founded in 2019 in Lincoln, Nebraska. We create fragrance for fiction lovers. 

Literally Scents Co. is a bookish lifestyle shop that focuses on high-quality, unique small batch soy candles. We also make other book worm essentials like bookmarks, pens, and source stickers from talented artists across the US. You will also find some of the most adorable hand made book accessories like book & e-reader sleeves, tote bags, and pencil cases, quilted by yours truly.

 I started this candle company in 2019 after I had been re-reading one of my favorite series; the Grisha Trilogy. Now back in 2019 my shop was called Books Tabs and Wicks, derived from well Books, the tabs I used to annotate them, and candle wicks. In 2024 we renamed to BTW Candles & Wax, which just was an acronym for the OG name. But by 2025 I was ready for a full rebrand, thus Literally Scents Co. was born! Or reborn rather ... 

I had heard of book inspired candles before, and after re-reading the Grisha trilogy I wanted to get my hands on a Darkling candle. After looking at what Darkling inspired candles existed, none were exactly capturing the essence of him that I so desperately was looking for. So, I took it upon myself and well, the rest is really history.

Every candle I pour is special and made with the intention to make whoever burns it love every single second of it. Literally Scent Co. is more than just candles, it's a celebration of the things we love and the smells that take us a thousand words into a fictional world that feels like home. I hope you enjoy ♡
